The goal of our association is to reenact the armed forces who participated in World War 2.   What is living history? With original and repro uniforms and objects we show the audience in a educational way, how life was at the front. This takes a lot of research by our members who are very dedicade to their hobby. Beside a display of the life at the front and everything around it, you can see us in action in mock battles. A visitor can experience the used tactics on the battlefield. The goal of "Frontleven" is to make a living museum where our visitors get a nice and total view of the military life.   Our Units: - US 104TH Inf.Div. Timber Wolves - Fallschirmjäger regiment 2 - Wehrmacht Heer (early and late war) - ABBL 1940 (III/6 linie) We want to emphasise that the German armed forces are being reenacted from a historical point of view. Frontleven guards conscientiously that neo-nazism, rascism or anti-semitism are kept out of our association and our hobby.   What can you expect of us? We participate at WWII events and liberation celebrations. We guarantee: - reconstruction of an army camp. - historical correct uniforms and equipment. - shows, acting, drill exercises and field tactics. - explanation and evocation to our audience. - Reliving a battle. This happens obviously on an educational manner where the interaction with the audience is crucial. Frontleven lends her co-operation to movie, tv-productions and plays by providing extras, equipment and uniforms. All our members have experience in this and give your project a historical correct surplus value. We also concentrated us on research and regional geography and history in so doing we lend our co-operation to musea, regional geography and history societies and other associations. (see also project page)   Do you wish to join Frontleven 40-45? We are looking for motivated members, with a strong dedication for re-enactment and history. As a member, you must approve our regulation. During a trial period of one year, the new members are evaluated permanently. If they seem to have extreme right convictions, they will have to leave the Frontleven 40-45 irrevocable.
